Catching "the moment" is more my thing, but sometimes when a still-life opportunity presents itself, one must take advantage!I've always loved close-ups of dandelion puffs... now I made my own!

I think they look a little like lace; woodsy, elemental lace.

Recently my husband and I were able to have a weekend get-away (a rarity when you have two toddlers, almost 17 months apart in age). We happened to be at the same resort where we celebrated our first anniversary, almost 7 years ago.

I got a bit nostalgic and had an impromptu shoot with our wedding bands.

I call this one "Wishes".
It reminds me of wishes made and wishes yet to be wished.

Another photograph I've always wanted to make and never had the equipment or the chance until now. Mother Nature's pretty photogenic, I must say!
