Iron Works

Whether you're family, a friend, a Facebook friend, follow our family blog or keep up with blink studio here, you probably know that my husband's work has taken him out of state since the beginning of the year. You'd also know, then, that our small children and I got to go to Tennessee with him for two weeks while he worked on the last leg of the project there.
It was a great experience to see new places, and photo opportunities weren't lacking.
Take this bridge, for example. It's the one we drove on to get from Memphis to Missouri on our way home.
I was doubtful as to whether or not I'd get a useable shot, seeing as how there was a van window between my lens and the bridge. Figure in the fact that we were clipping along at 75 mph, and the odds weren't that great.
Seems I was pleasantly surprised!

A few tweaks and edits and I wound up with this!
I'm thinking of taking some of my shots to iStock or a similar stock photography site.
Think this is a good idea? Leave a comment and let me know!
